Update as of 4/16/20

Camp Adam Fisher has secured a new camp week for July 25, 2020 (exact start/end dates will depend on CDC guidelines.) This change meets our medical and moral obligations to do everything possible to ensure your child’s camping experience is safe and fun! We trust that any inconvenience will be outweighed by the peace to be gained in extra distance from the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak. Deposits paid for the original June dates will automatically roll over to the rescheduled July dates. We have received many emails and hope this this addresses some of your outstanding questions. If you have individual questions about rescheduling, please do email and we will get to you as quickly as we can. Of course, we will continue to monitor the situation and will post updates here as we know more. We hope that everyone is taking good care of themselves and each other, and we look forward to seeing everyone real soon on the banks of Wyboo Creek!

Update as of 5/18/20

This week, we received preliminary Covid-19 specific sanitation and safety guidelines from Camp Bob Cooper, who hosts our campsite. Obviously, these are fluid and are subject to change based on the recommendations of the State of South Carolina and the CDC. These are quite detailed, but some basic procedures to expect:

- Additional screening tools throughout and promotion of social distancing

- Sitewide reduced capacity

- Specifically trained staff will be proactive with daily cleaning procedures focusing on frequented common spaces such as dining facilities, restrooms, showers, etc.

- Limited contact during drop-off and pick-up

Our CAF leaders are frequently meeting to tailor these preliminary guidelines with specific attention to the needs of our campers and staff to maximize the safety and health of our camp family. We anticipate being able to provide more details to you in the coming weeks.
